The 20 rising hedge fund stars - MY HIGHLIGHTS

Via Opalesque, comes Institutional Investor’s list of the top 20 rising stars of the hedge fund world.

They offer the following points of note:

  • 55 per cent work in New York, 10 per cent in London and 10 per cent in Asia (the remainder work elsewhere in the US)
  • 40 per cent founded or co-founded their firms
  • The average age of nominees is 37 (the youngest being 28 years old and the eldest being 42)
  • Women represent 20 per cent of the group
  • One nominee is an MD and another did not attend college
